With over 20 years of diverse legal experience, Syma supports Legal, Risk & Compliance. Syma’s expertise includes risk management and navigating complex regulatory landscapes, ensuring alignment with institutional missions and compliance requirements. 

Previously, she advised senior leadership and the Board of Trustees at The Johns Hopkins University as well as several years at the U.S. Department of Labor Office of the Solicitor as a regulatory and trial attorney. Member of the California, Massachusetts, and Maryland Bars.
